History
Founded in 2017, k-apostrophe is the studio founded by artist and textile designer K’era Morgan. Located in Los Angeles, the brand grew from an initial collection of eight woven throw blankets derived from an archive of Morgan’s original paintings, into a thriving creative and textiles business that sold woven home textile goods in boutiques across North America and Europe - including West Elm, Bloomingdales and stores like Le Bone Marche in Paris. In 2024, Morgan made the decision to step away from her textiles business to return her full attention to her studio art practice roots.
Currently, Morgan continues to explore a range of mediums, and plans to incorporate textile-based works into her studio routine, with an emphasis on collectible designs. These textiles, along with her traditional paintings, and unique objets d'art, highlight her evolving artistic journey. Morgan is also venturing into the creation of functional design objects that blend her interests in decorative arts, design, and fine art, further expanding her creative scope through collaborations and commissions.
